【內容介紹】

農場主人養了許多動物：一匹馬、五頭牛還有小驢子和牠的爸爸、媽媽。小驢子每天都盼望著能夠參與大家的工作，然而，農場主人、提姆叔叔和嬸嬸覺得小驢子年紀小負荷不了工作，因此一直沒有讓牠參與。

直到這一天，國王遣了差使到農場選坐騎，差使一眼就看中純真善良的小驢子。

當小驢子載著國王接受百姓夾道歡呼，再沒有任何事能使牠更高興了。

【繪者介紹】

岳宣

是七年級新生代畫家，畢業於樹德科技大學視覺傳達設計系。

在創作小驢子時，嘗試使用不同於其他繪本的構圖方法。

畫面上使用簡單的幾何架構，搭配繁複的色彩與裝飾性的圖畫，藉由後者的多樣性來平衡前者的簡化。

就因為這則故事敘述方式簡單，但當中的含意深廣，所以以這種構圖配置來襯托出故事的精神。

期望透過兒童豐富的想像力，在圖畫當中遊戲。
